TeleNet Media LLC was chosen to work with the High Five Entertainment, Myspace Music and UStream team to deliver the Grand Ole Opry's first EVER live webcast, which was was shown on Myspace Music and viewed by 300,000 fans. The Grand Ole Opry first went on the air in 1925 as a radio show and has progressed over the decades to television and now the internet! The headliner was the 2005 American Idol winner, Carrie Underwood, along with Jaken Owens, Martina McBride and Rodney Atkins. The broadcast was a great success with TeleNet Media and Coherent Methods working together to provide on-site satellite linkage and encoding and push the signal to UStream for delivery on Myspace.
